More than Metal: the mind behind SINK putters

More than Metal: the mind behind SINK putters

One of the game’s genuine good guys, and a craftsman who has built a career at the intersection of two life long passions: engineering and golf - That man is Olly Longlands.

Down on England’s south coast, something quietly compelling is taking shape. In Littlehampton, an unassuming seaside town just west of Worthing, there is a workshop that hums quietly with rather huge intent. It’s not Carlsbad, California, the weather is rather more questionable and somewhat cooler, and it’s certainly not golf’s Silicon Valley.

In Littlehampton, the future of putting isn’t mass-produced or over-promised. It’s milled, finished beautifully, and refined quietly in a coastal town on the English Channel. There is an overwhelming sense that a lot of time has gone into each putter, more so than just handling the run of the mill products at your local golf store, these putters pine for your attention it’s hard to resist.
