This is the sign that greets both the European and the American fans when entering Bethpage Black in Long Island, New York - notice the capital letters on each word.

The size - equivalent to a billboard on the side of the road (not freeway) - and the bold lettering, as well as the strength of the message is clearly a sign to stay away if you can’t handle the size of the task. It became evident very quickly, that for this particular weekend in September 2025, this sign was directed to both spectators and players.

Having been lucky enough to attend a variety of major sporting events, all around the world. Something to do with a (growing) bucket list, or at least that’s how I justify it at home. I can safely say, I’ve never been to an event quite like this. And I was only there for 1 of the 3 days!
